You can say anything you want about abap but just know that Patrick's voice is prime and petes lyrics are so raw and heartfelt especially in The Kids Aren't Alright and Andys drum beats perfectly compliment the music and Joes guitar especially in Uma Thurman is so amazing and he is so talented and this album was a gift and not to mention we had 3!!Music!!Videos for irresistible and don't talk to me I'm emo

AB/AP

(Confession) I don’t think people try hard enough to find a way to connect to AB/AP. You really have to listen to the lyrics and FIND a way to connect to it. It’s not gonna throw itself at you.

Out of all the albums, I have to say AB/AP was the one I connected the least with, Folie and Take This To Your Grave being very close to my heart.

Everyone is all like “OH MAH GERD SAVE ROCK & ROLL IS BEST ERA I WISH THEY GO BACK TO THAT STYLE I HATE ABAP SRAR IS BEST ALBUM EVER THOSE SONGS ARE BEST” and Im here like “Am I the only one who loves TTTYG and ABAP?” I love SRAR to death and the movie/musical was a masterpiece I watch it like 1 time everyday cause its so well done and acted but its so overrated I like listen to TTTYG and ABAP like 1,000,000 times a day like legit. I wish those albums get more love and all that tbh to me, thier the most underrated studio/realeased albums of FOB to me

i walked into denny's and they were playing irresistible and i started flailing my arms around. the manager later played most of abap becuase he saw me. i was wearing a fob shirt too.

Patrick can do so much more with his voice than SRAR and ABAP let him

I actually am not that big of a fan of ab/ap. I think that it so much less personal and a lot more cold and well, there wasn’t really anything special to it. It felt very sterile and overproduced compared to their first 5 records. Sure, the band is maturing, but that doesn’t mean that they have to dumb everything down and commercialize it. I know a lot of people like ab/ap, so I’m gonna get a lot of crap for this, but I just wish that they could become more personal, instead of slowly moving away, away, and away.
