Change in my personal plans...

Tumblr fam, today was technically my first day of college. Yup. I was supposed to be a senior this year, but God last minute flipped my world upside down. A week before school started at my highschool, problems arose and I wasn't allowed to go back, and I had too many credits to have a senior year. So to keep a long story short, here I am, little ab master at 17 years of age to be the youngest At all of her college classes. This ride is about to get exceptionally more wild, feel free to send prayers my way 😅

Yo it's Thursday which means your weekly fill of Ab Master We haven't been too active this week as a group, but I'm here to tell you what some of our future plans are (and hopefully my smolder will persuade you?) The 5 of us have been planning a get together to go forth and do random acts of kindness as a group of 5 phenomenal bloggers with a collective heart for positivity. Here's where you come in: Give us suggestions. Have a place we can volunteer? Have an idea of a random act of kindness (i.e. Giving out flowers, compliments)? Yeah, life, let’s talk about life… I took this picture a month or so ago of a beautiful lake a few miles from my house as I chatted with my oldest sister about our home situation. I’ll be absolutely vulnerable with you right now, my parents have divorced two weeks ago yesterday. My life isn’t perfect by any means, but then again… Who’s is? Don’t feel like you’re alone in any of this if you happen to be going through these hard times. Chances are… You’re definitely not the only one. I’ve learned so so so so so SO MANY THINGS and as a 16 year old junior, I shouldn’t be as zen and ‘wise’ as I am at this age… But I am and I’m not afraid to admit it. One thing I learned about life that I just wanna share with you all is, well, brokenness. I learned that healing is your choice to make… And it starts by being broken with someone. That means (but isn’t limited to) spilling your guts and weeping with someone over coffee, or letting someone who understands your position hold you when all you want is to scream and tear at your skin because it would be less painful than the hurt in what’s left of your heart. I know, oh darling I know those feelings better than most. But the cool thing is… When you choose to be broken with someone, when you choose to grieve, when you choose to go through these motions as painful as they are, Joy is just around the corner, and you are stronger than you could have ever been before. Further more… I’m so proud of you
