Time for a look at what the exterior of this building looks like!!
On a corner lot in a very small town sits this former hotel that later in life had been converted to a pub on the ground floor with apartments above. Built in 1869 the former hotel and pub has now been sitting derelict and neglected for a decade. It was the last of the rural taverns in operation in the area when it closed. Hopefully this building is not demolished in the future.
The inside has seen some work since it was last in operation, with most of the walls taken down to the studs, the pub is only a shell of its former self. There is furniture in piles in the middle of the rooms, one room is piled high with removed insulation. The bar is still intact including the original 3 tap beer tower, with an amazing wood door cooler in behind. The main staircase leading up from the ground floor is still mostly intact as well. The basement has a stone foundation with timber posts holding up most of the building. There are lots of personal items left behind and even the remains of the kitchen cupboards as well as the bathrooms that still echo their former use.
Hope you enjoy the photos and the accompanying video!!
