#Repost @alexandbre with @repostapp ・・・ Had the wonderful pleasure of moderating a group of incredible women last night at @uicagr - if you missed it, you truly missed out on a critical discussion in a moment where we are faced with confronting the immense oppression of women and a need to elevate the distinct violence against black women. These ladies and the work that they do professionally and in living a life reminds me of the resiliency that has made the legacy of our ancestors distinctly beautiful.
