sometimes i think about what we could have had if spike showed up two episodes earlier, during when she was bad. like with buffy's whole flirtation with being the loner rebel girl and the lashing out at angel stuff, imagine how crazy it would have gone if she'd wound up dirty dancing not with xander but with the season's main villain. who also happens to be angel's dickhead grandchilde. and who will eventually become an actual serious love interest. i'm sorry but that would have fucked so much
