hi everyone. So I am saddened to say that my 8 year old cousin has been diagnosed with a type of cancer that is in her wrist. She is such a sweet girl and doesn’t deserve to be going through this. When she found out about her cancer, she wasn’t even scared. She was just angry. Angry that the world works like this and that she has to go through this AGAIN! That’s right, I said again. When she was born, she had a condition that only 7% of kids would survive with. And that condition ultimately led to her being diagnosed with brain cancer when she was about 3. She amazingly beat brain cancer, and was back to being the girl who was the sunshine in everyone’s lives. Well now she has a reoccurring cancer, and her and her family are devestated. To make things worse, her brother (who is 10 now) has cancer a couple of years ago. Through a bunch of treatments, he ultimately beat cancer and has been cancer free for about 5 years now. So anyway, my cousin is an incrediby strong young girl who just wants to live her life normally like any other 8 year old. Once her family found out about her cancer, they were forced to pull her out of school for the remainder of the school year.
Just please keep my cousin in your prayers and please continue to support those struggling with childhood cancer. It’s the least we can do.
