Wanted to try coloring over one of my rough pen doodles without much cleanup, so I tried it out with @abgallery‘s pokes.

In the autumn of 2017 I felt a strong artistic desire. I had to push my art further! I decided to find a way to widen my creativity channel – the path from the universe to the canvas. This would allow me to create a new generation of unique Souls, which I could then release to the world. In order to facilitate this process, I started to deeply research a number of powerful mystical practices. I collected and studied specialist literature and consulted various experts in the field. By doing this I was able to create a personalized set of practices. This included energy releasing acupuncture, meditation, shamanism and mysticism, as well as special breathing and chakra opening techniques. After following these practices for some time, one day a vision came to me. It was during a deep energy exercise. The vision did not form an image or a particular shape, instead it was pure light with one word – stripes. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it was accompanied by a powerful emotional resonance. I knew, this was it! The same day I began working on Soul #50: Newspaper’s– the very first striped Soul. It was the start of a completely new page of creative expression for me. “The Birth of Stripes” exhibition is about the natural evolution of my striped Souls. It starts when the very first striped Soul was created, following my vision. The exhibition continues until the most recent, purified striped Souls. These were released recently.
