Finally unlocked all the chapters of the 1st anniversary story!!
Poor poor Euzeth… He was murdered by his evil father-in-law, Guren Sumeragi and died before his wife, Kaname, could tell him she was pregnant…
So from what I could understand:
Euzeth’s full name is ‘Euzeth J. Camelot’ and he’s in general this really nice, cheerful and optimistic person.
Guren is the CEO of this powerful record label and he wants to basically control the entire music industry. It’s either join his label or he’ll do everything in his power to stop you from having a place to perform or record your music. Bands under his label don’t fare much better though as they are placed under many restrictions and can only play music Guren approves of/composes (??)…
Euzeth’s beliefs are the complete opposite of Guren’s and he believes in artistic freedom and supports indie bands.
Euzeth’s band Abhar is extremely popular and successful. Guren tries to get him under his label but Euzeth refuses.
Guren’s daughter Kaname is a very talented composer and she has composed ‘the perfect score’ (which is apparently based on the music of dolphins!). Euzeth is very impressed by it.
Euzeth and Kaname fall in love and marry. Kaname used to think like her father but being with Euzeth changes her way of thinking.
Euzeth’s family is really rich but when his parents die, Guren somehow gets half of Euzeth’s inheritance! Not quite sure how… But Guren must have tricked Euzeth (and Kaname as she seems just as surprised as her husband at the revelation!) somehow?? Also Dante tries to kill Guren but Euzeth stops him!
Euzeth breaks away from Guren but Guren somehow takes Kaname away from him… Anyway, Guren is now super powerful and makes the music scene even more difficult for indie bands.
Euzeth feels quite depressed and Dante is the one who comforts him! XD
Euzeth decides to hold a huge music festival that he names ‘Dreaming Gig’ and invites many many bands to perform at it. Guren, of course, tries to stop him, so Euzeth makes a secret deal with him: he’ll give Guren his remaining half of his inheritance and disband Abhar (after the Dreaming Gig) if Guren will let him hold the Dreaming Gig, promise to stop harassing the bands that will perform at the Dreaming Gig and give him back his wife… Guren agrees to this and signs the contract Euzeth has prepared. (At least Euzeth was smart enough to have this all down on paper!)
Before the Dreaming Gig, Kaname goes to Euzeth, saying she has something she needs to tell him but the performance is about to start, so Euzeth says to tell him later…
At the Dreaming Gig, Euzeth announces that Abhar is disbanding to the shock of the audience and his fellow bandmates! But then Euzeth promises to give everyone the best performance ever as a farewell. One little boy with curly greyish hair in the audience is also shown. He’s a fan of Euzeth. Why is he given special focus? Who is he?
The Dreaming Gig is a huge success and Abhar’s performance is nothing short of divine. But then Euzeth hurries away before his bandmates and wife can talk to him.
Euzeth goes to Guren get him to keep his half of the bargain. Guren is basically horrified by how successful the Dreaming Gig was. He asks Euzeth how he managed to give such a spectacular performance. Euzeth tells him how it’s the result of artistic freedom and love of music!! Guren then says Euzeth is the greatest threat to his musical empire and… shoots him!
Just as Euzeth lies dying, he laughs and says how Guren has lost and that a new generation of musicians will rise up and revolt against his empire.
Then it seems like Guren just tosses Euzeth’s body into the street??? Guren, you monster!! A crowd gathers around it and Kaname finds this and worries about her unborn child…
Then a little blond boy is shown at a cemetery grieving over his dead older brother…
Also Guren feels so threatened by the success of the Dreaming Gig that he basically erases all mention of it in the media and on the Internet…
Is Euzeth’s little brother the vocalist of Xenon?? But Xenon is the top band of Guren’s record label… Did he join the label as part of some sort of revenge plot to avenge Euzeth??
Who is that grey haired boy?
Who is Euzeth’s child? He or she should be 15 now!
Is Dante human?? Why hasn’t he aged at all? Also, go avenge Euzeth now that you’ve been released from your prison, Dante! Go kill Guren like you wanted to 15 years ago!
