august’s ending
early morning winter reads
- picked up dance of thieves at the library and though i haven’t read the remnant chronicles, i was still really intrigued. they say you don’t need to read them to understand this book but i do feel like there is a history i’m missing out on... anyway to be completely honest, i’ve been jumping from book to book and nothing is satisfying me... definitely suffering from a book hangover after finishing the we hunt the flame duology (HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY THE WAY!!!)
speaking of, what are your favourite duologies?
the late afternoon light that filters through one side of my little room makes me very happy.
also picked up this copy of to kill a kingdom the other week and am very excited to read it! but first... bubble tea.
“A challenge and an insult all wrapped into one. My specialty.”
- daughter of the pirate king by tricia levenseller
moriarty the patriot (vol. one)
- i just started watching the anime and have decided to commit to purchasing the books ✨
currently reading (by the river) : the memory police by yoko ogawa
picked this up on a whim at a bookstore and am so glad i got it! the story is so gripping and mysterious and i’m in love with the author’s style of writing.
i miss the library so much
currently reading - a court of frost and starlight ✨
