child vs mother curries
Aeriel has the tendency to bite off more than she can chew, but she still tries her best to manage it all. That's why she tends to have that scattered vibe.
She doesn't like to ask for help and only does when she's desperate and really needs it.
She strikes me as an artist and she can draw, play the piano and sing. She's pretty handy with crafts too. I think she studied to become an architect. But because she had Day, it didn't really work out (though she got her degree!) and became a childcare teacher instead.
She doesn't really talk about herself or offer her opinions and personal information unless you explictly ask her for it.
I’ve been revisiting KOKIA and listening to her albums and it struck me that Aeriel enjoys Kokia’s music! She probably sings some of her songs to Day with her lilting voice. She’s capable of singing a little, capturing the beautiful warbling melodies ahh. A little songbird.
Day might think Kokia’s songs are comforting because of which, even if her music isn’t his style.
I love that Day is the type of kid who will start bawling once he falls (the shock and unexpectedness of it causes him to cry rather than any actual pain) but you can easily coax him out of it by distracting him and making him forget what he was crying over.
Aeriel would soothe him and stroke his cheek and ask if he’s hurt (”Oh baby, are you hurt?”) and he would sniff and nod. She can distract him by tickling just a little/giving him candy/using a toy to and he’d giggle before remembering to cry again (like “oh yeah, I’m hurt/uncomfortable/sad” BAWLS). Aeriel is so good at soothing him. He ends up smiling and wiping his eyes and giggling (while still sniffing). He just cried so much as a kid xD He would cry when he was moved or extremely happy.
Kid!Day had the ability of crying and eating at the same time. Especially if he was eating sweets. He was a crybaby but goshdarn was he adorable. He’s still adorable now.
