Dimitri - Russian from Greek Demetrius - "follower of Demeter" (while this is the meaning, his parents chose it because they liked it rather than for it's meaning. It was also interesting, like his twin brother's name, but not so out of the box.).
Dahl - Dahl, which means valley in the North Germanic languages (tal in German, dale in northern England English), is common in Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Faroe Islands.
*Dimitri very rarely uses his last name these days.

Once upon a time he was fondly referred to as 'Mitya' by one person and one person only. He would very likely throttle anyone who chose to call him that now. And then he would cry. Silas calls him Pops.

three headcanons ⎯⎯
Dimitri can fall asleep anywhere at any time and then pop back into the conversation like it never happened. He's been doing it his entire life and he absolutely blames his parentage for this. Sometimes it can come in handy but he knows it's mostly annoying to whoever he was talking to. You're usually pretty safe if he was already asleep when you started talking though, because he wasn't paying attention in the first place.
His time away has made him a little bitter, changed some of the things he would have cared about when he was younger (Dimitri is a lot older than he looks, friends) and he'll be the first to tell you he'll never fall in love again. But that just isn't true. Forever a hopeless romantic and it isn't going to change, no matter how hard he tries to pretend he's not interested in love.
Dimitri's dad taught him how to cook and bake when he was a kid but he surpassed his dad's talents quickly. He always thought that dream weaving would be his one true talent but put the boy in a kitchen with a basic idea and he comes alive.

Singularity. Not in the sense of being single, having no romantic entanglement. No - Dimitri spent a lifetime as half of a whole. At least that was the impression he was under. There was no him without his twin and when he was young he feared even the smallest differences between them. Back then he couldn't define why it frightened him so much. If even a freckle was off he would panic until one of them glamoured it away or added it to their own body. So, so many years later and he's finally realized that his fear is deeply rooted in feeling like, alone, he is not enough. Unfortunately, this is something he has to face now.
one thing your muse regrets ⎯⎯
Staying asleep for so long. While initially it seemed like the only thing he could do to free himself of heartbreak the comatose state he was suspended in became too comfortable and also so empty at the same time. He missed a lot in the time he was gone.

About the boys -
Kade hates eating in front of people, especially groups. While he doesn’t have an ED he is particular and finicky with food.
Kade is a lot nicer than he would have you believe.
