Booster Gold x fem! Wayne! reader
Here's the next part to Paparazzi, this one is an official part of the series, and there's more to come as we explore (Y/N) and Booster's relationship! I shifted to first person POV for this one, and the rest of them are probably going to fall into this category as well. I might shift POVs a few times but I’ll always let y’all know what the plan is for each chapter.
Summary: Booster meets (Y/N) again, and he learns a few new things from this encounter.

Iced coffee in hand, clothes that hug all my curves in the right way, sunglasses on, and marching on Gotham’s sidewalks to a lunch meeting I had. While I was a model most of the time, I was also the CEO of Wayne Enterprises alongside my brother. While he did more with Wayne Philathropy, I did more with Wayne Biotech and Wayne Chemistry, being more proficient in both of those compared to my brother. And here I am, getting ready to have a meeting with Lex Luthor, the bane(pun intended) of my existence. This man would not leave me alone, calls, texts, faxes, letters, hell, he even has the Daily Planet put his writings for me in the paper! He was desperate for my attention and finally, I gave in and was giving him some, though if he didn’t impress me enough today, he wouldn’t get another meeting with me. Lights flashed as I walked, and I made sure they got all my best angles, even stopping for autographs and questions.
“ Lex Luthor, how do you feel about the man?”
“Who were you with at the gala last night?”
“Why has your brother been hanging around that reporter from Metropolis so much?”
“Do you have anyone special in your life?”
I answer all the questions accordingly, expressing how Lex Luthor was just another man who wanted my attention. Yes, I was talking to the newest member of the league, no comment on my brother, and no, there isn’t anyone in my life. At the last one, the entire crowd got louder, asking more and more questions and with declarations of love and proposals as I made my way into the Italian restaurant, seeing Lex sitting alone at a table, I walked over, flashing lights following me. I flash a smile over my shoulder as I walk, winking at the cameras and even blowing a few kisses. As I sit down, I notice Lex watching my every move, while making none of his own. Dramatically rolling my eyes, I make sure the cameras see his lack of chivalry, making a show of it as well. I sling my purse off my shoulder, and drape my coat over the back of my chair with my bag as well, then I pull out my seat and sit. Picking up a menu, I ask the man across from me what kind of drink he ordered for us both.
“Wine, red, Recioto della Valpolicella to be specific,” He answers, “I heard that you prefer sweeter wines like that.”
“Indeed, it makes it easier to drink more that way,” I reply, boredom slipping into my tone.
Soon, the waiter comes out with the bottle and asks for our orders. Taking note of Lex’s order before asking me for mine, a good old seafood fettuccine alfredo, something that I can take home and avoid having Bruce take. After the waiter leaves, Lex opens up with a business proposal.
“I need your help with experimentation of Kryptonite,” He starts, “We wish to understand more about its properties.”
I sigh, taking a sip of my wine, “Straight to the point, I see.”
“You said I only get one chance at this, and so I’m getting right to the purpose of this meeting.”
“Why do you want to do so much with Kryptonite?” I ask, after a pause.
“In case that metahuman that calls himself ‘Superman’ goes off the rails,” He starts, “We need a way to defend ourselves, don’t you agree?”
Before I can answer, screams are heard from outside, I turn around just in time to see a figure crashing through the front window of the building. I lunge out of my chair, Lex doing nothing to attempt to help me, of course. It doesn’t seem like I’ll be having another meeting with him. As I get up to start running, I see a creature speeding towards me, before I can scream, a gold tint takes over my vision and the creature bounces off of it. I soon realize that it’s a force field around myself, leaving me virtually stuck for the time being. As the battle progresses, I put my sunglasses back on, having found my purse in the same dome that I was under. With them, I was able to contact Bruce, and document how the creatures were fighting them.
“Theia to Batman, what the hell is going on?” I say, once my glasses were on.
“Some sort of creature from another world, we don’t know much more than that,” He responds, until it seems to dawn on him that I am in the vicinity, “Where are you? Are you safe?”
“I’m in the Italian place, and yes, I’m fine, there’s some sort of force field around me.”
Bruce doesn’t respond, and the battle progresses, soon enough, the reporters from earlier see the gold dome around me and start capturing images of me. I smile softly at all of them, waving, soaking up more of the attention. As the battle ends, the force field is disintegrated around me, and before long, a familiar face is heading my way, Booster Gold, the man from last night. He smiles at the sight of me, breaking into a slight jog to get to me and help me gather my things.
“Here, let me help,” He started before scooping up my jacket from the ground and taking my purse from me, “It’s great to see you again, (Y/N).”
He offers his arm to help me out of the rubble, guiding me out gently, careful of my heels, before letting me get my bearings outside. He brushes the dust off of my bag, jacket, and bends down to do the same to my black heels.
“I was wondering when I’d get to see you again,” he talks while cleaning me off, “though I have to say, this wasn’t what I was picturing in my mind. I was kinda hoping to stumble across you in a less violent setting if I’m being honest. Can’t risk a pretty face like your’s getting hurt.”
I raise my eyebrow at him, as he moves to look up at my face, flashing a charming smile as he moves to dust off the rest of me.
“It’s hardly been 24 hours and yet you’re already hoping to see me again?” I ask as I look around at the damage done to the area.
“Well,” He starts, nervousness slipping into his tone, “how couldn’t I want to see you again? Pretty woman, smart-”
Lex walks up, slowly, before speaking, “(Y/N)! I’ve been searching for you all over! I’m so glad to see you safe and sound.”
He reaches for me while Booster Gold stands there, confusion evident on his face, before he can say anything though, I snap back at Lex, unable to stand the bald man any longer.
“Cut the crap, Luther. You didn’t even turn around to see what happened to me, nor did you treat a woman to lunch properly, and not only that, but you sat there the entire time talking about yourself and your plans that you need me for. This after MONTHS of you basically harrassing me to have lunch with you,” I start in on him, tired of the man, “you blew your chance, have fun finding someone else to help with your project, and if you try to contact me ever again, I’m filing charges.”
With that, I spin around, taking Booster Gold’s arm once more, and marching away from Lex, not once looking back just like he did to me. I keep walking until I bring Booster to Wayne Enterprises, waving to the front desk, and pulling him into an empty elevator with me. I press the button for my office, and let him go.
He stands there, not quite sure what is happening. I see his eyes dance around the elevator, as silence is filled with the whir of the floors flying by. The doors open with a ding, and I step out, motioning for the blue and gold clad man to follow. I greet my secretary, Annie, as I walk to the tall mahogany doors that lead to my office. Before I can open them, Booster does so for me, letting me walk in first as he follows. He closes the door softly, and just stands in front of it, waiting for something.
“You can sit down in any of the seats here, I’m just grabbing a quick drink, would you like anything?” I ask over my shoulder, walking to the bar in the corner.
“Uh, I’ll have whatever you have” he says, moving to the couch that’s opposite of the bar.
I walk over, two wine glasses in one hand, and a bottle in the other. I set them down on the table in front of him before sitting opposite, on a couch the exact same as the one he’s on. I watch as he pours the wine for us, before sliding one over to me. I pick it up and take a sip, letting the flavor flow over my taste buds.
“You’re probably wondering why I brought you here,” I start, observing Booster.
“Uh, well, yeah” he says, glancing up at me and around
His confidence seems to disappear when we’re alone, outside of the public eye. I take a mental note of that as I get ready to continue.
“I thought that it would be better for us to talk here, rather than out in the street,” I say, taking another sip, “I’ll let the League know you’re with me.”
“You know them personally?”
“I’m guessing they haven’t told you too much yet.”
He shakes his head and takes a sip of his wine. I see him trying to relax, but he almost seems overwhelmed.
“What was it you were saying earlier? Before Lex interrupted us.” I ask, voice softer as I look at him.
“Well, I was just saying how you’re amazing, cause, well, y’know,” He glances up at me again, “you’re smart, clearly caring, sassy, beautiful, I mean, how couldn’t I keep thinking about you? You’re basically the woman to me.”
I smile, as I look at him. Taking in his blonde hair, blue eyes, and amazing jaw line. As I examined him, I noticed a blush sitting high on his cheeks. Before he could get too flustered though, I decided to show him how I knew the League.
“Since you’re a member of the League now,” I started, standing up, “I suppose I should tell you how I know them, and let you know how much more of me you;ll be seeing.”
I smile at him as I press a button under my desk. The windows get covered, making the room black, as a table lifts up in the center of the room, illuminating Booster’s face. He sits there, mouth open, staring at the display in front of him.
“I’m sure you’ve heard of Theia?” I ask, as I move back to where he is, heels clicking on the floor.
“Well, uh, I think so?” He says it after a short pause, smiling sheepishly now.
“Theia is a Greek Titan Goddess, mother of the sun, moon, and dawn, and she’s the Titan goddess of sight, divine light, and shimmering value. I was given that name to help the League see things from different angles, lights, and to help them, in turn, shine,” I explain, gesturing to the large computer in the middle of the room, “Batman gave me this to help them better, though you’ll learn how I came to this position later on.”
He gapes at me, before a smile lights up his handsome face, “You mean we’ll be working together?”
I laugh, nodding as he celebrates a little, his confidence coming back bit by bit as I walk over to my computer and message the team, letting them know where he is and that I told him my role with the League.
“So, it sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot of each other, huh?” He asks, as I type away.
“It would seem so, Booster,” I answer, “I suppose we should get to know each other now, huh?”
