3. Does your s/i have a full backstory yet? Or is it still in the works? If it's done can we see it?
She does!! It differs a lil bit depending on what universe she’s in, and it changes a LOT because I’m an indecisive mfer, but it’s all there in my head :> Hmmm... if anyone was interested I could write it all down and post it! But here’s the tldr [death and abuse ment tw for the paragraph below! nothing detailed at all though]:
Emmy was adopted into the Reyes family when she was 8, but her parents considered her more as a tool to raise up her siblings, their two “real” daughters, than a member of the family. She got along with her younger sister (Jasmine) immediately, and after a couple rough years she ends up getting along with the older sister (Jade) as well. They started a little high school band together, along with two other members, one of which would become her husband way later down the line (boyfriend in universes where she’s younger LOL). Her desires to start a life for herself away from her parents led her to be swept up into a WORSE relationship with a boy from her school (Marcus) the second she graduated. Marcus seemed sweet at first, but gradually became controlling to the point where she had to run away. He has a lot of power, though, coming from a VERY well off family, so she tries to keep herself off the grid so she wouldn’t be found again. During this time she meets up with the person I mentioned earlier from school (Kioshi) who takes her in, and RoMaNcE EnSuEs! He’s actually a wonderful person this time, though! Yay for Emmy! HOWEVER, she’s been around enough toxic people that she’s developed some major trust issues, and she becomes very clingy very fast, leading them to get married WAY sooner than they probably should have, when they were both around 21. He dies in an an accident a year or two later, though, sending her back into the world, still trying to lay low to avoid Marcus swooping her back up again~
It branches from there based off what f/o she’s with ^^ And a decent chunk of that backstory changes based on what f/o she’s with too! If anyone’s interested in hearing more about Emmy when she’s with a specific f/o I’m happy to get into that, I could go off about her all day KLJSDJFKL
7. Give us 3 random facts abt your s/i!
1. She has like a quarter of a business degree and half a psychology degree, the former from being with Marcus and the latter from being with Kioshi. She has NO interest at all in business, that was just kinda forced on her, but she was genuinely interested and excited to get her psych degree! She never ended up finishing it, but she’s probably happier in this job than she would have been in a psych related job~
2. Emmy likes taking care of people she loves a lot more than the other way around. Call that Top Energy(TM) if you will. SHE wants to be the big spoon and the one who tucks her partner in at night and the one who proposes. It would take a bit of pushing and some uncomfortable moments for her to let it be the other way around, but if and when that does happen she ends up loving that too~ she’s still proposing though she’s not giving that one up
3. I’ve already said she’s bad with computers in the last ask, to keep up Emmy Dissing Hour(TM), she’s ALSO terrible at art. She’s never really tried it, and every time she has she’s gotten frustrated and given up before she finishes. Her sister, Jade, is an artist professionally and she’s the only one who can get Emmy to sit down for a few hours and try something artistic.
9. Does your s/i have any hobbies that you don't have?
She likes singing! She goes to karaoke when she needs a break from life. I only sing to myself in the car JKLSDFS,,, I haven’t really thought about Emmy’s hobbies, she’s always so busy that she doesn’t get much of a chance :’( When she DOES get a free moment she likes idle mindless things like jigsaw puzzles and solitaire, but so do I so I can’t list that here LOL
