I’ve been thinking again about Ginny’s sixth year at Hogwarts and during a conversation with some friends we started discussing if she was with someone other than Harry that year. In regards to a meaningful relationship I would say no. The reasons for this are two fold. First, she was obviously too busy reforming the DA and rebelling against the regime in place at the school. Second, though far more minor, I do believe that she held onto the hope that their side would win, that her and Harry would both survive and then reunite. I see this more like the dream that helped give her some hope on particularly dark nights.

That being said I think there is textual evidence to support that Ginny is also a person with some significant sexual desires. For my interpretation of the character I could see her having a physical relationship with a person or persons throughout that year as a means of escape. Nothing serious, just something that allowed her to shut off her brain and be momentarily forced to focus on something other than the horror.
