jodie definitely would like to ( and does, in some verses ) own an old truck. ( picture something like b.ella’s truck in t.wilight. ) she doesn’t really have the money to afford a fancy car, nor does she actually care that much. in her canon verse, she had to rely on nathan or cole to drive her around when they trusted her ( and aiden ) enough to take her somewhere, and she very much enjoys the freedom of being able to travel on her own, drifting from town to town and just existing. it feels like something close to normal, maybe the closest she’ll ever get. and she’s okay with that.
