which of your fics...

I was tagged by @writefightandflightclub - I feel so bad that it’s taken me this long to get to, and for that I offer my humblest apologies T-T - Nemo

Did you think would get a bigger reaction/audience than it got?

I wrote a Thor fic (like four months ago?) and idk why but I thought people would like it and they mustn’t have (?). It’s called ‘As We Can’ and honestly I really like it. 

Got a better reaction than you expected?

The most on-going answer is all my DC fics. Mostly Batfam stuff like this, this, and Batmom fics like ‘Plague’. 

The imagine ‘Being a Better Pilot than Poe Dameron’ also shot off like a rocket when I first posted it, and it not has it’s own series, so I can’t not put that on the list too. 

I also wrote a dad!Poe fic called ‘Mental Scarring’ based off my own experienced and oml (;;-;;) I felt bad at how many of y’all like it so much. To this day I’m still worried that you guys didn’t have interactions like that with your parents and I’m really, really, really sorry. 

Is your funniest?

‘Poe Dameron is an Idiot?’ needs to be here. For legal reasons. 

‘Mind-Lists and Morning Cravings’ is about as humorous as a Sherlock fic can get, at least for what I write. If you’re into dry humor anyways. 

Is your darkest/angstiest?

This Sherlock one (’My Friend’) and thats - ehehehe - that’s a rough ride. 

Most Attack on Titan works of mine have a dark/angst undertone. The worst of them are probably ‘Promises ‘, ‘Star Crossed’, ‘Their Cravat’ and ‘Runaway’. 

I also have a Batmom/DC fic about Jason’s death (’Hell Hath No Fury’) so naturally that’s pretty angsty. 

Is your absolute favorite?

I adore my Pacific Rim fics. So my Chuck Hansen fic ‘All The Things Unsaid’ and the AU Levi fic ‘The Tension In Between ‘ are both top-tier fics in my mind. 

Is your least favorite?

I wrote a Eren Jaeger fic ones and I don’t even like it enough to link it. 

Was the easiest to write?

Not going to lie, it depends. I go though phases, and the phase helps with what’s easy to write.

I do remember ‘Mrs. Dameron’ was easy to write. 

So was ‘Fresh Off The Press’, a Peter Parker one I wrote after FFH came out. 

Was the hardest to write?

My Hobbit works have come to a standstill. Especially the series ‘Out of Goodwill’. That’s a struggle right now, and it makes me feel off that people are still reading it and I haven’t updated in many, many months. 

Has your favorite line/exchange/paragraph? (share it)

There’s a section in a Thorin fic called ‘Follow You’. It think it’s sweet, even if I do say so myself.

“The scars. Everyone will stare.” She mumbled, going back to fiddling with her hands.

“People will stare, but not because of your scars.” Thorin said, taking her jittery fingers in his hands. (y/n) looked down at where their hands met, and let out a contented sigh that Thorin almost missed. “You beauty is only added to by the things you’d call flaws that mar your skin. They tell a story of you, and no wall paintings, folk stories or inscriptions can do that well. Not even if there was a hundred of them.” Thorin rested a hand to cup her jaw, tilting her downcast eyes to meet his.

“Thorin…”

“You are you, and I-” Thorin stopped for a moment, leaning forwards to gently press his forehead to hers. “I love you.”

Have you re-read the most?

The amount of times I’ve had to re-read though ‘The Girl Who Knew the End’ just so that I can remember where I’m up to in the story is unimaginable. 

Would you recommend to someone reading your work for the first time?

Depends on your interests. I’ve had a few people say I write for many fandoms, so it’d probably be best if I just directed them to my masterlist! 

Are you most proud of?

Honestly, I think ‘Apple Pie’ is a good one. I like that fic. It’s a little angsty, mostly fluff, and it’s good a damn good recipe for apple pie in the fic. Again, even if I do say so myself.

okay, let’s get my act together and do this! 

I have an ‘Oikawa knee’! - Seriously. I had an accident at my old workplace and my knee got partially crushed. It normally ‘pops’ and aches, but it did make a weird crunch noise this morning, and I don’t think that was healthy. It doesn’t hurt more than usual though so I’m being unbothered.

I’m scared of thunder. Like, I jump and have a death-grip on my pillow when I sleep at night if there’s a thunderstorm outside. I almost cried during the most recent one, so that was not my best moment. 

I want to go to a castle in Europe, wearing a flowing dress, and run down the halls into the arms of my lover. Just like a princess.  If I only had one day left to live and I could do anything else in the world, I’d do that. I’d need to get a lover too, but that’s beside the point.

named after someone? Yeah. My real first name is from my parent’s friend, and my middle name is the same as my mothers. 

last time you cried? A couple days ago. They were happy tears. 

do you have any kids? No. I do want them in the future, even if I have no s/o. Adoption has never bothered me, and I’d love to do it. 

do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes. Probably too much. 

eye color? Brown. But I’ve heard they can be green in certain light, and almost yellow in others, so idk. 

favorite book genre? I don’t think I have one, but I do seem to be drawn to books that have the mc dealing with mental health or trauma. I think the inked pages of natures past are speaking to me. 

any special talent? Nope. I have no special talent, and never have had one. 

what country were you born in? Australia. And so far have never left. 

what are your hobbies? Being a financial burden, and knowing too much about useless subjects. 

do you have any pets? We have two very self-sufficient goldfish in our pond outside, so no. 

what sports do you play/have played? I have played volleyball, and lacrosse - I actually enjoyed playing the latter. When I was able to try archery I liked it and - get this - I was good at it too. 

how tall are you? 164 centimeters. 

favorite subject in school? I liked learning about history - did not like the tests/exams that came with it. Art was one I as good at - the exams there I was only good at because of my seething dislike for the contemporary art that we were forced to analyze. The great thing about art analysis’ is that you can say whatever you like about an artwork, then throw in some fancy words, and a couple sentences to back up your claim - Voila! An A+. 

dream job? I wanted to be a museum curator. More than anything. But apparently a love for history isn’t enough and you need a god-awful amount of depolmas to get that job. If you know me, then you know that I’m not that academically smart. So a hopeless pipe dream it will forever stay.

When I Made this Blog: August 2018. 

Why I Made this Blog: I wanted an outlet for my fics, and somewhere I can be more ‘me’, and now look where we are.

Reason for URL: There’s this hairpin I have - it’s super old now, and most of the gems on it are gone - in the shape of a flower. I needed a blog name, and that hairpin was nearby. And have you seen an actual blue bell hair pin? They’re really pretty!
