Her mother sold her to them, and then she became a commodity - something to be used. They labelled her as Vix - Vixen. Her supervisor had been called Fox. Her current name was given to her by the Khalai lady who saved her and took her in - they formed a strong bond of love and stayed together for five years until some Terrans took a dislike to their unusual relationship and decided to take it into their own hands. Rineltha - she named her after a flower on Aiur, because she said her smile was as bright as it’s petals.
Also- bonus. Her only sexual experience has been with a Protoss - the Khalai lady who found her not long after her abandonment and helped her bring back her memories and rebuild her life.
