I think more people need to make stuff about the characters that are just like forced to witness stuff
Like when I look for angst from a fandom, all that ever comes up is angst for characters who are shown openly sad on camera. For characters who are shown being upset, and characters specifically who have done things they regret or like had things done to them
but like
I never get angst about characters who are just sitting there on the edge, involved, and maybe even partially responsible, but really, in truth, just forced spectators. I want angst about characters blankly staring as another character dies before their eyes.
