I am here once again to bitch about the wonders of sciatica.

So, y'all are probably wondering in all my complaining, "What the fuck is Sciatica? Some kind of Greek God??"

No.

Not really.

How I wish it was.

Sciatica is essentially pain that radiates from...well, obviously, the sciatic nerve. There's a nerve that runs from low back, down the booty, and into the leg. I have the dishonor of it fucking with me on BOTH sides, and it spontaneously picks whatever side it wants.

Sometimes left.

Sometimes right.

But always pain.

Always. Pain.

Sometimes I have to use a cane, but not always. Maybe a little less than half, depending on how my hip joints feel. Maybe a good 75% of the time, it's not needed.

Though I do like to have said cane I ever need the damn thing. Security blanket, I guess. Doesn't hurt to have it hanging about.

On bad nights? It's...not fun. Screaming, cursing, leg locks up, cannot put weight on it, can't do shit...

Currently, we're at 'right leg is 1000% pissed and now I'm having to make do with the cane' 🙃 fun times, y'all. Fun times.

Though because it's black and gold, I do be giving off Disney Villain vibes, so I guess I'm ok with it. For now, though...
