Others have described them as diplomatic & protective, but also jealous & withdrawn.
Alexander is the twin of Isabella Whitlock, the second youngest or he likes to say third oldest.
His father wanted nothing more than for one of his sons to take his place as leader so he was a hard ass (in Alex's opinion). He couldn't stand being in the same room as the man and the man's favorite activity was to pin the boys against one another.
His older brother was way more hot-headed with their father than he was. Alexander practically did everything his father asked of just to get away form him and assumed if he had just shut his mouth hand do what he wanted, life would be fine. But he admired his older brother for always standing up for himself.
When he was a teen, he met a girl. He fell head over heels for her and was willing to do anything for her... including becoming a dad.
One day she told him she was pregnant, of course, it was terrifying given he was only sixteen when it happened but he couldn't imagine anyone better.
It's not like his parents were too mad about it especially since it meant there was someone else to be able to take over the family line when the time was right.
Expect nine months later, when she gave birth. It was more than obvious the kid wasn't his. it sends him into a spiral, the idea that someone didn't love him the way he loved her and the fact she was willing to lie. Well, it made it hard for him to stay in relationships after that. Not wanting to get hurt again.
He works hard to become a good second hand for his brother, knowing that his father wants him to take over instead of Alex.
His brother ends up taking the path of becoming the one to take over the coven when the time comes yet his dad pushed and pushed until a few weeks ago his brother died.
It was a heart attack, they said.
But Alex has a feeling it's a little more complicated than that.
