HOT: EclipseD make Unit Comeback

Phantom EclipseD have made their official unit comeback with their new song Spark, and while fans are enjoying it, many are worried about the future of the group. 

Phantom has been on hiatus for about a year now, with half the group enlisting in 2021. And with Slash and Titan set to enlist sometime on the horizon too, it’s likely Phantom won’t even be available to promote again for years. Spotlight has shown they have no issues with shelving groups in the past, and many diehard fans are scared their group will follow in Traxx’s footsteps. Or worse-- Haze’s.

Phantom EclipseD’s Awake charted high on all 8 charts, but only managed to break into the #1 spot on two of them.

Syndicate’s Oh Nana, featuring Sola, achieved an all-kill

Byulbit : Ankaa’s Love You Want You topped all major Vietnamese charts, and managed to chart in South Korea, Indonesia, and the Philippines as well, far outdoing expectations.

Yeong’s In the Dark topped 7/8 realtime charts

Sona’s Mimew topped 6/8 realtime charts, and was competing heavily with Yeong’s chart entry heavily.

TRENDING: Phantom’s Subunit Makes Comeback

Phantom as a group has been on hiatus as of late due to half the group enlisting in the military. In 2021, Spotlight debuted a subunit with the remaining members, and that subunit made it’s first comeback today.

The song suits the members and their strengths perfectly, with a beautiful and aesthetic colorblocked music video. While fans of Phantom are missing their bias group, this seems to be a good way to tide them over.

LUSS’s Warm Hole performed very well on all real-time charts, however trended on Twitter and received a lot of outrage for its explicitly sexual content.

H2H’s Mermaid underperformed dramatically, mainly due to fan boycott over Ahki’s treatment in the group.

Phantom’s Home hit the top of 7/8 major charts.

Terra’s Why Not? achieved an All-Kill, however received many dislikes on the music video due to a dedicated hate campaign coordinated by a rival fandom.

HOT: Phantom EcliPsed Makes Hot Debut

Phantom has debuted their first unit, comprised of Slash and Titan, with their new song Home.

With both members helping to write the song, and with Slash choreographing for it, the debut is as meaningful and personal as one can get. Fans of the pair will recognize the name-- Slash and Titan debuted initially in a group called Eclipse before joining Spotlight and Phantom, and many longtime fans were very touched by the throwback and connection the unit name alluded to.

NEW: Spotlight Announce Phantom Unit

It’s no secret that Spotlight’s senior boy groups have been winding down. Between TRAXX’s scandals, solo projects, and enlistment dates looming closer, some of the older groups have had little opportunity to release new things for their fans, and it seems as though Spotlight has found a temporary solution. Last month, they debuted a TRAXX subunit, and it seems like that is going to be a trend with the mega-label this year. Earlier today, they announced their intentions to debut a Phantom subunit as well. 

It’s not hard to guess who the unit is going to comprise of-- Slash and Titan are currently the only two members who aren’t enlisted. Many fans are very excited to see what comes of them-- the pair were in a group together that disbanded before coming to Phantom, and have a long history together.
