I've mentioned that Sam and Danny were dating pretty much from the first time they met up until Sam first got that amnesia. After that she wasn't exactly keen on continuing a relationship she could barely remember. However, it was six months after Sam and Danny met (they were like 13-14 yo) and they were of course dating. And Danny said, "When we're no longer apprentices, let's get married and hunt together!" and Sam excitedly agreed, and it's an adorable scene that I will write out later probably Tuesday since it's on my mind now.
And it was touched upon between the two of them in other conversations, however, Sam doesn't remember any of it at all.
But Danny still remembers...
I just need to write out the story so that at least someone can have a chance of understanding my in-story feels. Because I have a lot of them, for all the main characters.
The most recent one was that I plotted out a very very tragic event and I'm not even going to spoil this one because when I do write this out I don't want anybody who reads it to know what's coming. It hurts now, but I'll feel so much better when someone else gets hurt by it.
Anyways at the setting in this story arranged marriage is a thing, but it's more so for the higher caste families. And it's pretty common for 16 year olds to start their apprenticeships and jobs and usually people wait until they're settled into their job to look to marry (so usually 2 or 3 years. aka people are marriage-ready when they're 18 or 19.)
