; as icky as the ship itself is to me, forgetting that emma has a life outside of it is what gets to me the most, absolutely, it’s so ridiculous and childish to think that there can only be one kind of love: romantic. and then ignore everyone else.

i literally can’t go into emma-related tags because 90% of the stuff in them is related to her and him. it honestly scares me. and that is what puts me off them the most tbqh.

i mean, i do think he cares but like so many people ignore her other relationships in favour of him. like i think there’s a quote from jmo about how ‘everyone who cares about her’ (or something along those lines) is going to be fighting to help her in season 5 and so many people are basically just putting that down as to just hook fighting for her. when like, hello? her parents? the friendship with regina that’s been developing throughout the show? the son she had true love’s kiss with in season one? oh, wait! those characters only exist when they’re supposed  fellow‘shippers’, don’t they? and henry only exists when you wanna try and force hook on him as a father. i forgot. silly me. i mean, say you truly care about emma all you want but when you’re literally making her nothing more than one half of a fucking ship, well...
