Still waiting on our merch (it’s summer con crunch season, so our suppliers are taking longer than expected), but single orders should start going out tomorrow!
Just finished putting labels on the last of the non-bundle zines, and they’ll all go out Monday! The charms are all put together, too, but we’re still waiting to hear on the bookmark and stickers.

Hello everyone!
A note: this announcement applies to both the ABO and Xeno zines.
First of all, again, sincerest apologies for the silence over the past month. Due to some personal issues, the zine was temporarily placed on hold, but we’re back now and moving full steam ahead! Thank you all so much for your patience.
A couple of things:
1. Apps are done being reviewed and we have our list of participants! Emails should be going out within the next 24 hours at most, likely sooner. We’re absolutely thrilled at the turnout for our zines—almost 150 applicants!—and only regret that we didn’t have more space, especially with how much quality work we received.
If you receive an email and plan on participating, you must follow the instructions in the email to respond, or you will be dropped from the event.
2. Our schedule has been updated! See below:
Participants announced: Sept 16 Check-In One: Oct 21st Check-In Two: Nov 18th Check-In Three: Dec 16th Final Submissions: Jan 3rd Preorders Open: January 15th Preorders Close: February 15th Target Shipping: March 15th
3. As Mod A mentioned, a co-mod has been recruited; that’s me! I go by Mod X and should be showing up in the sidebar in a day or two. :)

How much will it cost?
Exact price will depend on the final details as they get worked out with regard to exact length (page count) and what extras are included but we’re aiming for around $15 for the PDF, $20-25 for the print, & $30-35 for a bundle including extras (such as a charm or pins). (All Prices USD.)

The ABO Voltron Zine is an unofficial fan project dedicated to omegaverse AUs of your favourite Voltron characters, run by @interdictedkai! The zine will feature both artists and authors.
Sign-ups will close July 20th, 2017! Successful applicants will be contacted once sign-ups are closed. If you are not selected, please know it’s not a reflection of your ability in any way and it doesn’t mean we wouldn’t love to have as part of our zine. We’re simply unable to include everyone who applies. The decision will be a tough one.
Some details:
This Zine will be 5.25 x 8 inches and will be released both as a printed physical edition and a digital PDF edition.
This is an NSFW Zine. Applicants must be over 18 years old as of their sign-up date. Those looking to purchase the zine must be over 18 years old as of their purchase date.

Do examples need to be Voltron-oriented?
Not at all! They can be if you like, but we’re primarily looking at style over content. Examples should be of the style and formatting you’re looking to submit for the Zine. Art examples should have full backgrounds. NSFW samples preferred where available.
Do I have to be 18 or older to participate?
YES. This zine is an NSFW project that includes explicit content not suitable for minors. Any applicant found to be under 18 at the time of their application will be banned from the zine as well as any future projects.
What is the theme of this zine?
This zine is NSFW and omegaverse-themed. In other words: Heats! Ruts! Slick! This zine is dedicated to art and fic involving the Paladins & Alteans of Team Voltron as Alphas, Omegas, & Betas! Works do not have to be canonverse AU. All AUs welcome. Omegaverse coffee shop AU? Welcome! The perils of trying to form Voltron while in heat? Welcome! All pairing types (m/m, m/f, f/f, ot3, ot4, etc) will be accepted. (Please note: all characters portrayed must be depicted as 18+.)
Will participants receive a free physical copy of the zine?
All participants will definitely receive a free copy of the PDF version. Whether it’s possible to provide fully-free physical copies to participants is dependant on how well the zine performs. Zine profits will first be going to cover participant copies so we should be able to make this work!
Can I collab with other participants? Can I pick my own partner? How will collabs work?
Yes, and you can pick your own partner! We’ll set up a spreadsheet of participants and indicate who has indicated they are interested in doing a collab so you may contact them or we can contact them on your behalf.
How big should my piece be?
Finished Art should be 1650 x 2475 pixels at a minimum of 300 dpi with no important details outside of 1575 x 2400 pixels (to allow for bleed). Art should be formatted in CMYK as a TIFF (preferred) or JPEG (accepted).
Finished Fics should be 1500 to 3000 words long. Writers will also be asked to provide a 200 character or less mini-summary.
Will the zine have extras?
We ideally would like to have extras! We will be discussing the creation of extras to be included in a special bundle edition with interested participants once the participants have been announced.
What if I’m unable to finish my piece by the deadline?
Life tends to get busy so we understand if things change as the zine gets underway. Please consider your schedules and commitments before signing up. Should anything change, notify us as soon as possible. Please note, failing to submit a final piece will make you ineligible for your free copy and contributor compensation, however you will still be able to purchase the zine at-cost.
We’ll be sure to check in on you throughout the creation of the zine and you are of course free to drop out at any time.
Will international shipping be available?
Of course! International shipping will be available and we’re looking into making the shipping cost as reasonable as possible.
