Hey what’s up hello! Here’s to my first Tumblr post since high school 20 years ago. I’m a fiber artist and make some cool things with thread and needles.

One of my favorite pieces from last year and inspired by the wildflower-loving wyvern, Abraxos, from Throne of Glass.

Process: hand stitched wyvern on cotton fabric, cut out, and appliquéd onto wildflower fabric. All thread is DMC; metallic-based thread is Diamant to give appearance of spider silk

The second Bryce said the above quote in HOFAS, my mind immediately went to Elain running an intergalactic garden, welcoming all types of beings from SJM’s worlds. My hope is that we see Elain with some type of Life powers, a direct contrast to Nesta’s power of Death, honing her abilities in gardens throughout Velaris and beyond.

I love to think about who all may show up to Elain’s Intergalactic Garden… a cute white cat who seems to be suspiciously aware of their surroundings, a certain dragon and rider that has a fondness for wildflowers. I know Elain will welcome them all with open arms. After all, she believes the world(s) need more gardens 🌸🌹🪻🌷🌼🌺
