👐 On a scale of 1-10, how willing was Maya to what's the word, 'volunteer' for the hero mode?

Prolly like... A four? Haha. That's me...

I really only did it for the pay. I had no idea that Ivy was in on it. It got in the way of all my creative bullshit, but it was better than working minimum wage and being treated like dirt. You wouldn't believe how bad working as a... cashier? Order taker? I was whatever that was called at a cafe for a few weeks. I hate coffee by the way. This was when I was like... Fifteen? This one lady started her order, saw my beautiful pride flag pins, and fucking walked out the door? The hell? At least I wasn't in the job long enough to get one of The Lectures.

That got out of hand, didn't it. Mmm.
