Episode 5 - Stealth Technology or... Where is the Money ?

Technical Stuff:

This animated adventure short (in nine episodes) is a product of the special talents of my friends and family. The train layout is an ongoing love by a neighbor who is a very successful architect, the music was provided by several prominent musicians, the writing from a freelance writer, the voices....a local pub owner, myself, and an owner of a creative marketing agency. Cameras, location photos etc. all cajoled out of neighbors and friends.

The actual footage came from cameras on a flat car pushed thru the layout, with added

footage from some other cameras. It was then taken into photo-shop (every eighth

frame...and given a makeover.) I have not used any official animation program - just sort of made it look like the old time trailers that I used to enjoy at the theater. Thousands of frames later, this is the result......enjoy and please pass it on....

Here Is something of particular interest to me. There is a documentary being made called "The Search For Count Dante". It is about John Keehan AKA (Count Dante) who grew up in Chicago. During the 1960s he was one of the most intriguing figures in America’s starting martial arts scene. You have probably seen his picture a dozen times. He was that scary man in the comic book ads that billed him as " the most dangerous man alive" and promised to teach you the Death Touch. He put on karate tournaments, he styled womens hair and courted Playboy Bunnies. He was one part “Black Belt Jones” and one part Warren Beatty from “Shampoo.” He challenged Muhammad Ali, tested his hand speed against a quick draw artist, and kept an African lion as a house pet. Well guess what, I was there. I met Count Dante on a few occasions. I was a student at one of the dojos he was connected with. Over time a rival l dojo started up and trouble started. The trouble seemed to have been over money and race. We were one of the only dojos that trained minority students at that time. As a result, schools were stormed, blasting caps used, shot guns were kept in the office and the life of Keehan’s best friend and my personal instructor was lost. Later Dante may have been involved in the Purolator Armored Car Robbery in 1974 that netted four million dollars. Soon after the robbery, Dante mysteriously died and was buried in an unmarked grave.  Please go over and take a look at this upcoming documentary.
