Jack dressed in one of his nicest suits, making sure he was dressed to impress, and made his way downstairs. After their outside fun and Andy’s request yesterday, he contacted his person from the club and made arrangements for the two of them to attend this evening. The only thing he’d told his boyfriend was to dress like he was ready to be devoured and left him in the room to finish getting ready. Never being one fit for an average 9 to 5 Ransom was beginning to grasp at straws. His mother and father were up his ass to begin fending for himself and he was sick of it. He decided to take the edge off by browsing through his favorite porn channels.

Grace glances at her phone for the millionth time that morning while she shopped for her weekly groceries. It’d been about two weeks since she’d met with Mike Weiss and he’d agreed to take her on as a client. However, since that time she had yet to hear from him about the restraining order she’d requested.

She kept telling herself that was the only reason she was disappointed in not hearing from him. She sighs a little out of frustration and drops the phone back into her purse, grabbing up the dog and cat treats Grace had previously been perusing. She pays for her items and heads back to her car to head home.

Driving back through town she notices the motel on the right side of road, just on the outskirts of town. She hesitates, the turn for the parking lot coming up. There were a couple of small motel/hotels in town... Mike could be staying at any one of them. It was crazy to go hunting around for a guy she hardly knew. But she did pay him a good chunk of money for services she hadn’t even seen in action...

Grace’s mind made up, she turns on her blinker and pulls into the lot. Steeling her nerves she heads into the front office. After talking to the clerk her gamble to try had paid off. Mike Weiss’s newly acquired room number in hand she watches the numbers on the door until she stands in front of motel room 110. Not giving it anymore thought she knocks on the door.

Blinking his eyes open, Jack was slightly confused by his surroundings and the bed he was in. A presence next to him has Jack turning his head and relief setting in when he spots the man next to him. Andy. It doesn’t take long for everything from the day before to come rushing in and realize where he was.

Jack liked this, waking up next to Andy, watching the man’s chest rise and fall. He was beauty personified; his muscled breasts a perfect shape, his chiseled abs like a washboard, the hair that ran down his body coating him perfectly. Jack was in awe of his beauty and was grateful this was the man he wanted to share his life with, if he was lucky enough to keep Andy happy.

The light was seeping into the room, letting him know it was morning and the previous day was just a memory. Jack really didn’t want to get out of bed, even though he knew he should get around and start the process of readjusting into this life. All he wanted was to spend as much time as he could with the love of his life in the comfort of Andy’s bed.

It was mid day by the time Jack left the house and made his way to Pandemonium. It’d been a long time since he’d last been there and his missed the business he had started because of Clay. The club was his baby and source of income for Jack. It was because of Pandemonium he didn’t have to live on his Royal families money. Which is why he needed to go and see for himself just what his first husband was doing to his head and butter.

According to Ransom, the club was turning a profit. Jack knew that. It had been making money since they opened, and once he added his own wine label sold exclusively through the club and his website, well... Jack was a made man despite being a Prince. He’d come to America and is now living the American dream courtesy of his club.

Jack parked his car and went inside his club. He made his way to the bar and saw Ransom behind the counter, counting bottles with a pen in his mouth.

“It’s good to know there’s something in your mouth that can silence you.” Jack jokes as he comes to stand near his ex.

Jack was fuming. The coffee meeting had not gone well, Andy’s friend giving off weird vibes from the start. He never would’ve guessed his boyfriend was friends with a demon! To make matters worse, his friendship with said demon almost cost him his life and Andy kept that rid bit of information from him, most likely because he knew how Jack would react. Well, the cats out of the bag now and Jack was ready to have it out with his love because Jack was damned if something like that would ever happen again.

“What the hell is wrong with you, Andy?! Are you seriously out of your mind?! A demon?!?! Explain this shit to me, and don’t use your damned lawyer talk, either!”

Jack angrily said as they walked into the house that suddenly seemed too small for the two of them.

Rolling over, Jack cuddles into the warmth next to him. His eyes are still closed but he knows who’s next to him because Jack feels safe and loved, so he buried his nose into the neck of the man, hoping he can fall back asleep. The sun leaking through the window has other plans and Jack sits up, wondering just how long they’ve slept if he can see light.

Untangling himself, Jack sits up and grabs his phone. Seven in the morning. Fuck! Andy has to get up, his flight leaves soon. His stomach begins to sink as reality sets in, his boyfriend will be heading back today and their blissful weekend will be coming to a close. How he going to handle the man he loves leave? He truly doesn’t want to see their time come to an end.

Putting the phone back down, Jack leans in and kisses Andy in his check. Andy has things to do back home and Jack can’t selfishly keep him here any longer.

“Baby...,” he whispers, “it’s time to wake up.”

Walking in the door of Andy’s home, Jack smiles and felt a warmth creep into his chest. It wasn’t a palace or even like the home he’d bought for Clay thinking they’d spend a lifetime making memories in the grandiose home. This house was more simple, something that fit Andy. Jack could see this home as being more domestic, a place for a family equipped with children. The thought terrified him but wasn’t unwelcome as it had been in the past. Jack was finding himself opening up to new ideas and sharing parts of his life no one else knew about. Maybe this house would be where he and Andy could build a future, whatever that looked like for them. A house that could call his home.

“You know, I left palace life behind me in Gilboa. This seems more comfortable anyway. I think I’ll like it here, that is, until you get sick of me.” Jack jokes with a wink.
