From what I have seen of Lego Monkie Kid season 5. I think the new studio is doing a good job! It isn't at the level of the previous studio. The first episode looked off, but they seem to be getting the movements and gestures down as the episodes progress. The colors are a bit too bright for the backgrounds, but I don't mind.

I am enjoying it. It seems they really are working hard to live up to the previous studio, and it shows. 😊

Sooo...I finished watching Seasons 1-3 of Lego Monkie Kid-

I loved it! (Will never top my ROTTMNT obsession though)

It was a pleasant surprise! It is rare to see a show which is straight to the point with more lore than fillers. Perfect, because I don't think I could've survived! It is so simple and charming. So cute! ❤️

And that ANIMATION! Oh.My.God. I felt exhilarated! It reminds me of childhood!

Might be some LMK content every so often on this page, but I will never let go of ROTTMNT.

OK, OK, SO-

I got an idea for a ROTTMNT AU while listening to FAKE TYPE in the car on my way home-

Imagine this-

The Mud Dogs have been in the crime scene for years; they never reached the infamy as other criminals down in the Hidden City. One day however, they hear wind of a newbie group quickly climbing the ranks: The Mad Dogs.

Angry, they gotta find out who is impersonating them, and taking all their rep.

Ah-hahaha! I AM SO GIDDY ABOUT THIS CONCEPT! (maybe I'll make some concept art)

The tomfoolery that would occur would be so FACINATING!

In the process of brainstorming an AU where the turtle brothers accidentally make a cult and just roll with it, but I am not writing it down as I have way too many projects I haven't started (yet...) 🙃

I imagine it was Mikey who started it accidentally instead of the disaster twins because ✨Mystic Powers✨

BUT- the twins became the enablers and are dragging people and Yokai into the cult once they convince Mikey to be their "God."

Raph doesn't know until later, but he'll get dragged in somehow :)

EDIT: I HAVE REALIZED AFTER WRITING THIS POST THAT MIKEY HAS INDEED STARTED A CULT ONCE IN THE SHOW CANNONICALLY AND IT JUST MAKES THIS MORE PERFECT!
