2015 is almost over and I couldn’t be happier.

This year I’ve definitely grown up and matured (only slightly).

A lot of the beginning of the year was putting myself back together after an emotional roller coaster. Luckily I had my family,friends and music by my side. I learned to love myself first before ever loving someone else. A lot of my inner & outer strength came from listening to “Froot” by Marina and the Diamonds, who I managed to see live towards the end of this year. I worked a shitty job for most of the year and actually found something I love doing!

Summer was wonderful. The absolute best.

I reconnected with someone I thought I’d never see again. Shit happened but I’m not getting into that. Things are going pretty good still! I’m happy and content. He’s wonderful.

I made the absolute best group of girlfriends I could ever ask for! I love my squad 💕 Saw Lady Gaga for the 1000th time with Tony Bennett. Just amazing!! Totally in awe!

Got too drunk @ DFA1979…I wish I remembered it.

My favourite part of this year was definitely going to LA, Disneyland & KCon for my birthday. Disneyland was an experience I’ll never forget (last time I went I was 12). I crossed off something on my bucket list, which was to see Super Junior live. I DIED. I found a lot of myself when I branched out and took this trip solo, it was SO worth it. I definitely worked hard and deserved it. I was very proud of myself.

After a wonderful summer everything pretty much went downhill. I lost both of my grandparents within a 4 month span, got admitted to the hospital for one problem and came out (a week later) with two and my best friend (my sister) moved out.

I developed avascular necrosis after being in the hospital for a week. It’s a side effect from my steroid that I have to be on since I have renal failure, so they can’t take me off it or lower my dosage since I’m at the minimum. So within the next 3-6 years I’ll have to have a hip replacement…fun. Depression set in and it became unbearable. Everything happened at once and I broke down crying in front of multiple people. I wouldn’t eat, I wouldn’t be fun to hangout with. I became the opposite of the person I was at the beginning of this year. I was jobless and beyond broke for a month. I am now in deep debt because of it. Not fun.

At this moment as I pet a cat and think about my life I am VERY grateful to be blessed with so many great people to support me through these past 4 months. 2016 will hopefully be a much better year.

Goals for 2016: learn to drive, take a course or two, move out, discover new places, experience life, take more photos of beautiful things, love & take care of myself (more)
