sorry this is another thought about AH/JD that I'm putting here cause idk where else to
but like... okay abuse is not always done by a person with more social/societal power than the other in a relationship but I just... I cannot believe
that there are people who truly and genuinely believe that not only are the years of AH's evidence some kind of gone girl conspiracy (side note I searched her name on netflix earlier today to see if she was in anything I could watch for... idk some semblance of support and the first two lines of results included 3 JD movies and gone girl)
but that JD's paid security personnel - body guards and security coordinators - watched a woman who was not making nearly a fraction of the money he made in a year, who was not paying them nor in charge of any of the people around them, physically abuse their boss and then send her apology texts to ~placate her. that is like... beyond the scope of my comprehension. idg how that is a legitimate argument people accept
