Bonnie bit her lower lip, wanting to stop the huge smile that was about to cross her lips. Eventually, she let go of her lip and smiled widely, being touched that Damon would be so thoughtful and romantic, calling her just to tell her that he loved his little redbird. "I love you too, always. I hope you come home soon because I'm starting to miss you very much." Her cheeks flushed crimson, matching the color of her fiery red curls.

"I don't want to go through that again this year, so I'm not going to present my feather to the one I want to choose. I think I'd rather be content cuddling you and...uh..I'll make sure you are fed this time." She said, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry."

“Alright.” He smiled. “Whatever you want Xaph. I’ll be there if you need me.”

She blushes slightly and shrugged, still holding the hunter tight. "It was my first nesting and I was pretty hurt, but I'm glad you didn't get too upset with me." She smiled and nuzzled against his shoulder.

“You kinda scared me...” He admitted honestly. “I told you I needed food and you growled at me...” Peter said and then burst out laughing.

Xapham smiled, resting her head against his back. "Nesting season is close, and if you aren't busy, I might steal you again." She said softly. "Would you be okay with that if the time comes?"

“Of course.” he said, giving a small shrug. “I’ll clear my schedule... thanks for the warning this time rather then just... carting me off like last time.” He chuckled quietly.
