Ohhh, so I'm guessing Abyss's partner might resemble their mom or something (?) — then what appearance would Abyss use to date them later on?
You'll see her soon in the comic.
A few things for the wonderful MetaKaz:
First, if a CELL user married a non CELL user and had children, could then the CELL pass down to the offspring? If CELL works like genes, would it be recessive (because of rarity and how strong it makes the user)? Since all CELL is different, could in theory the offspring and user share similar traits once they shift into phase 1, 2, 3, and so on?
Second, I've been thinking about my Pokémon AU recently, and I actually have been meaning to draw my Ceruledge and Armarogue sisters that actually have inspiration from New AbyssTale. I plan to make them as gift art for you, as a gift for all you've done to inspire me— my fanfic series and my entire oc collection would not exist without old AbyssTale.
Third, I just wanted to say New AbyssTale is beyond great, really helped inspire me to distance my ocs from being mary sues and ground them in reality. I actually plan to post the CELL forms for my ocs, inspired by Abyss' at some point (of course I'll give credit where credit is due). 2 of the 3 CELL users have dragonic inspiration for their inspiration, the other is more deer like, antlers and everything.
Apologies for the length, keep up the good work and I can't wait to read the new stuff. Have a good day, I gotta get back to rereading New AbyssTale from page 1 :]
First: This is possible if the Cell reaches the stage of human evolution, like Abyss, which takes years to achieve.( In the very near future, he fall in love with the human. Her name is Ophelia. ) However, monsters possessing only 25% of the Cell cannot transmit the generation gene because they are not the original host of the Cell. But thanks to Abyss!Flowey absorbs all the monsters' souls to become Asriel again. Unfortunately, he accidentally acquires the Cell, which affects all the monsters that carry it. And all monsters possess 25% of the Cell within them.
Thank you. I'm happy that my work inspires you to create a different AU and characters that isn't necessarily an AU from Undertale or Deltarune.
Does blue magic effect or work on Abyss?
Yes, but you cannot see his soul. You are only holding his body.
Error did try to seize his soul with his blue strings, but it only held his body.
So, no matter how hard you try to capture his soul, it will always remain within him, impossible to reach.
Good luck trying to rip out his heart without his ribcage devouring your hand.
Wow, you were already talking about the house being alive back in 2022.
And as for "hurt Papyrus" here — does that mean Killer slashed the house?!
You have good memories. Abyss sometimes gives the impression that certain things have no place there. The first time he returned home, he was stunned by the change in the house and realized that he had been gone for two years, when he had only been gone for three days.
He remembers every detail of the interior of the house he explored. He remembers in particular that the floor was made of dark ceramic tiles on the entrace of the house.
The next day, he noticed that the floor had taken on a blue-grey tint like wood. He questions Abyss!Alphys and Abyss!Mtt about it. Abyss!Mtt explains to Abyss that the floor has always been like this. You must be exhausted from the traveler. Of course, Abyss!Mtt knew what was going on and decided to play a little prank on Abyss.
Abyss was initially perplexed, but he let it go for the time being. The next day another strange thing: The kitchen was supposed to be on the left side of the house, but now it was on the right. He knew he wasn't crazy, he knew where the kitchen was.
Abyss!Alphys told Abyss!Mtt to stop making so many changes, otherwise Abyss would become suspicious. Abyss!Mtt wasn't happy with the kitchen's location. And promise not to change anything else.
As for Killer, he only hurt Abyss!Alphys and Abyss!Mtt. He didn't hurt Abyss!Papyrus because Abyss was here.
Would Abyss ever fight hand-to-hand without using any weapons?"
He can turn his hand into claws.
So far, Abyss's known favorite foods are sushi, dark chocolate, and spicy food. The only thing he's explicitly said he dislikes is white chocolate. I'm guessing he's not a fan of greasy food either?
You forgot his favorite drink an iced cappuccino and has to be sweet but not too sweet.
He still doesn't like white chocolate.
Abyss wasn't really difficult as long as the food was good.
However, the few things he disliked the most were:
Vol-au-vent
Tourtière aka meat pie
He hates looking at it. He senses something unusual about it, a presence that seems out of place. Eating it seems strange and unappetizing. A pie is for dessert, not a meal.
The only exception is quiche, and that's it.
Abyss can use CELL to create weapons — does he usually throw them as ranged attacks or wield them in close combat?
Yes he can do that.
