Fish shadow types in Animal Crossing New Horizons!

It can be hard to tell apart sizes 3 and 4, and sizes 5 and 6. Mostly it comes down to being a bit fatter than the size below them, rather than longer.

Another important note is that the finned fish is about size 4, so a giant shark won’t have a shadow as big as sea bass. Fins can also be hard to see if the fish is facing upwards or if it’s night time, so make sure to fish up any snapper or bass sized shadows in those circumstances.
