Kaiju: The Devil's Masterpiece/PC Comics Solomon, Acacius and Gorgo
Lore:
Years after the defeat of the Devil's Masterpiece, PC comics once again rebooted their flagship title comic character, Solomon. This time, the comic series was called "Emperor Solomon: Beast from the East."
It was a take on Solomon with a bold new art style, and they tried something new. They gave Solomon robes and a crown, Acacius was wearing a full flowing cape, and one of the most impressive developments in the comic franchise's history: They attained the rights for Gorgo of the Creatureverse's fame and brought her into the narrative.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to notice that Gorgo was almost a mirror of Godzilla before his demise against the Masterpiece. She was given a large set of wings at her back and a golden halo above her head.
She played an important role in the comics, often times saving Solomon and Acacius from certain doom. Many criticized how she was a solution to everything, some saying that they preferred when Solomon had to fight his way out of a life or death situation or outsmart his enemies.
Most enjoyed her showing up in the comics.
In the iconic end story arc, a massive creature called "Red Sludge" threatened to destroy everything. Once again, it was pointed out that Red Sludge was a combination of the creature that showed up in 2019 after the events at the DIRGE laboratories, as well as the Devil's Masterpiece.
The overall design of Red Sludge was the Masterpiece almost one to one, but it was a sickly, splotchy red coloration with deep rivulets of muck on its body.
The comic series ended with Acacius reviving Solomon after he and Gorgo entered the Red Sludge's redverse - a universe that siphoned the life force of all who entered and fed it to the Sludge. Gorgo was not so fortunate. But her sacrifice allowed Solomon to strike the killing blow, ending the beast's reign of terror once and for all.
