I was with my family and some friends and we went to this fancy restaurant. We were eating on the top floor just eating when some priest had to come and do an exorcist on some lady. It went wrong I think, or maybe the lady was just a demon, but either way we ended up fighting her. Before she could be defeated, she pushed Liam out of the window, killing him. We went to this temple that was supposed to be a sacred place to revive Liam but hit had been corrupted. Once beautiful clear lake turned into purple bubbling tar. The stepping stones that lead to the temple entrance were hard to see and sunk a bit when stepped on, which made it only worse crossing because there were creatures so tiny that could harm you horribly hiding in the tar. I jumped from stone to stone with two others,almost falling into the tar, till we all made it in safely. The inside of the temple was still beautiful, despite its corruption. It was like a giant library with machinery working to organize the books, with some of the tar here and there. It was lit somewhat dimly, more well lit in spots with the machinery. Nearby one of the machines was a platform made of golden wire with a shrine on it. I quickly flew over to it and took out a phone looking device to place in this key like slot on the shrine. Right after I did that Liam's ghost appeared. Before I could talk to him I noticed this other shrine not to far away. It was old and there was a portal that looked like a black hole behind it. The thought came to mind as soon as a saw it that I shouldn't go near it or else I'd disappeare forever. I don't remember what happened next but I was teleported to the most corrupted part of the temple. There were so many impure creatures, and usually I'd be able to kill them all but I was overwhelmed and defeated. When I came to I was in some behind the temple that want touched by the corruption. It was a bit too bright for my liking and since I woke up above the water on a rock that made it all the worse, but the place was still beautiful. There was a lady there, I think she was the spirit of the temple, she told me to rest and become restored. I lay down for a bit and then began to swim in the water. It was refreshing. That is until I opened my eyes under water and saw a clam with man legs. Pretty sure it was a demon. It has googly eyes but more detailed. I asked the spirit what it was too be sure but right as I did, it charged at me.
