          he leans against the bathroom door with his cheek pressed against it.  a glance at the clock reads four am  --  not the time he wanted to be up,  but where he had found himself in.  he could have unlocked the door easily a few minutes ago,  but he didn’t want to break that violation of privacy.  but clint didn’t want to talk to him,  and he had no idea what was wrong. 

          “  i’ll just wait for you out here,  okay?  “  he slouches down more,  closing his eyes.  “  if you want to sleep in the living room or in my room,  you can do that too.  if something scared you.  “
