It was finally Sunday, and Stefan’s birthday festivities had come to it’s final end. From the Super Totem, to surprise strippers, a one-night stand (whose face he couldn’t remember) , and the night ending in his friend Nik’s room before dawn. Of course nothing happened, as they usually didn’t between the two. They were just friends. Mostly. The casual talking had ended around 9 AM, and he had taken a shower there; mainly to avoid waking up Mason or Lee. After showering, all had ended on a complete 180 from the prior hours with a mere kiss goodbye. Unexpected, but enough to flutter his insides. When he finally exited Nik’s room, Stefan snuck into the hotel room he shared with Mason and Lee, where he changed into fresh clothes and packed up the rest.
Short after, Stefan and Nik met up in the hallway. They were headed for the lobby some few minutes before 11 AM, as planned. He was without his luggage. Though they were checking out, Stefan knew his friends were all the type to sleep in for at least another couple hours. When the elevator dinged open to the lobby, the two shuffled out into a surprisingly busy crowd. “I wouldn’t plan on actually leaving until late afternoon, by the way.”
