I think sometimes you just can't help but like the men who are kind of pathetic y'know, like, the boyfailures just have their own charm. or something. It's ok Mayu-chan we understand 🙂↕️ I can't explain the basketball part however (me acting as if this has nothing to do with my own tastes)
Melody stared at the wall blankly, not even reading her book. She really couldn’t be damned to pick it up or read or do anything really. It felt empty inside her, not having Chanyeol really. She sat up when Wonwoo walked in, holding a large package. Melody watched as he placed it down on the table.
“It’s for you,” He gave her a reassuring smile.
“I don’t want a present,” Melody sighed.
He shrugged, “It’s a package for you, not from any of us,”
There was possibly a high chance that it was from Chanyeol. Melody leaned forward and glanced at the package, reading the label. Confusion set in when she realised it couldn’t have been from Chanyeol, it was sent her from Europe.
She pulled the wrapping off, Wonwoo’s eyes went wide at the large Versace box. Melody opened the box, picking up the card that was placed on top of all the wrapping. Opening it, Wonwoo tried to peak at it but she gave him a look and turned away.

Snapping the card shut, Melody shoved it in her pocket. Her phone buzzed and she picked it up, Wonwoo raising her eyebrows as she glanced at the box for a moment.
“Just put it in my room, don’t touch it,” She narrowed her eyes at him, “No one is to touch it,”
“What is it, a bomb?” Wonwoo joked as he picked up the box.
Melody shook her head, murmuring a quick goodbye before heading for the door. Wonwoo frowned, Melody was silent most times but now she was just upset, silent and moody. Oh well, this was very much Vernon’s territory now.
Walking out of the dorm, Melody slipped into the car and sighed silently. She pulled out her phone, opening her messages. She frowned as the word “PUPPY” was the first one. Shaking her head, Melody scrolled down and hit the last message.
M: What did you send me?
T: Just an apology, I needed to say sorry.
She looked at the reply before pursing her lips.
M: I’ll think about it.
Thankfully, the trip wasn’t too long. Although, Melody felt a bit bad that she was seeing her friend while in such a foul mood. As she walked to his apartment, the door opened before she got there and Daniel came running out, a large smile on his face.
“Melody!” He cheered and hugged her, picking her up slightly.
“Hello,” She patted his back softly and Daniel instantly noticed her gloomy mood.
“Melody, come on, tell me what’s wrong,”
He dragged her inside his apartment, sitting her down on his couch. Melody sighed softly, placing her hands in her lap and looking at Daniel. The boy gave her a soft look and smile, notifying her to talk.
“Chanyeol and I broke up,” Melody whispered.
Daniel’s eyes went wide and he was silent for a few moments. Melody nodded slowly before he took a deep breath, frowning softly.
“That’s why your so upset,” He sighed.
She looked away, “All I can think about is him, I didn’t want to break up with him but it just wasn’t healthy the way he was acting,”
“You were talking to him for two years though, how is it he wasn’t ready for a relationship?” Daniel asked, “He sounds like a virgin,”
“He wasn’t,” Melody gave him a look.
“Who was better, him or me?” Daniel smirked.
Her cheeks went red and Melody waved him off. Daniel leaned closer.
“You need a rebound,” He pointed out.
“Rebound?”
Placing his hand on her thigh, Daniel nodded. Melody shivered slightly at the contact, her and Daniel were friends but it wasn’t like they hadn’t been together before. He moved his hand upwards and Melody felt her legs spread slightly.
“I’ll be your rebound,” He shrugged as if it was so casual, “What do you say?”
