First, we would like to thank everyone one for participating in the contest and there were many great stories about why you would love to win the Hatchimal. The winner was picked randomly and his name is Travis McAlpine who Liked one of the posts. No story, just a like but once we contacted Travis we knew the Christmas Spirit is alive and well. We learned that Lila-Dawn the daughter of Travis and Nicole McAlpine was born legally blind with a very rare condition called Ocular Albinism and her vision is 20/200. But not to be sad; Lila-Dawn is a very happy little girl and she had no idea why she was coming to 100 Mile house. All Lila-Dawn wanted for Christmas was a Hatchimal but her parents told her there wasn’t any let in Canada so she picked something else.
