I just had a protective/defensive Ford thought that I had to share 😂

I’m just imagining some sort of family function or maybe meeting some of the kids they went to school with again after the events of the show. And someone makes a comment about Stan being dumb or worthless and Ford just gives them a “say that again, I dare you” look (Stan would have to physically stop him from giving that person a piece of his mind ✨)

That's one of my favorite things to dwell on when it comes to protective Ford. Just the raw fury this man shows with his face. I'm sure Ford had to stop Stan from going too far when it came to fights when they were younger so now it's Stan that has to stop Ford from going too far.

I don’t know if this quite fits the vibe, but Rayla didn’t want to lose Callum, which is why she left, right? She wanted to protect him. She’s lost a lot and been through a lot….but then again…so has Callum, his mom, his step-dad, and now his girlfriend (not dead but…still just, gone) He’d want to protect her too, and he actually has magic to do it! But now she’s gone! And he can’t do anything to protect her. Pile that on top of the hurt of her leaving and I’m pretty sure Callum is crying so much 😭

Callum has always struggled with insecurity (something he shares in common with Rayla)! By his own admission, he was never good at “prince things,” like sword-fighting or horseback riding, and he carries a lot of guilt over being able to do nothing to protect Harrow from the assassins. But now he has power, he can do something, he can protect the ones he loves. He can be the heroic prince he was meant to be.

And yet that’s not good enough.

He wants nothing more than to protect Rayla. But he doesn’t even know where she is. She could be wounded, she could be held prisoner, she could be dead, and there’s nothing he can do to save her.

What does he have to do to save her?

@sunheart - Someone who desires to really comprehend the Truth. Very passionate about a number of things and willing to take stances, but also kind and thoughtful. She cares so much about her residents at work, showing a love for them particularly but also for all the elderly, which I really appreciate. A sharpener of iron.

@aceofstars16 - An old Nerdarian, one of the greats (if she were a Nedarian, she wouldn't let Apen down). Runs the TSE Secret Santa year after year, and is a talented artist (and writer too, if I'm not mistaken). She is very sweet, the sort of person I want to wrap in a warm hug whenever I check in on her tumblr or run across her elsewhere. In short, a dear.
