niall followed the rest of his team as they followed their map. he ran a hand through his hair, looking around. he wanted to ask what exactly they were looking for, but he was sure someone would give him instructions when they needed him to do something. the former bleach blonde looked at his teammates as they found the correct place. sweet! he began to dig, stepping on his shovel in order to get it into the dirt. a bit later, and lots of aches in his already sore knee, they’d found it. “sorry mates, i can’t carry that. bum knee and all that.” he’d help if he really needed to but honestly he’d prefer if he didn’t have to. once it was out of the ground, he headed back to the house with the rest of his team, glad that they’d found their treasure.

Treasure Hunt - Team 3

It wasn’t just a want.  Bill needed to be at the head of the group with the handful of people holding the map and figuring out the treasure location.  He loved problem-solving situations and, since his brain was feeling recently under-utilized just chilling in the house watching Netflix or reading, this activity was the perfect opportunity for him to switch on.  It was also the perfect opportunity for him to channel his inner-child by wearing a bandana and his ‘Goonies never say die!’ t-shirt.  When they reached the approximate location, he really didn’t care much about what the treasure was.  He sort of wished it was another map so they could keep going, but the challenge had to end sometime.  He let his teammates do the digging so that other people on his team could feel like they were just as much a part of the experience as himself and the others with the map.  “Good work, guys,” he pronounced, giving a couple of teammates a pat on the back.

“Are you sure we’re not just walking in circles?” she asked to the person that was reading the map “Because I’m think I’ve seen that thing like three times already” she said approaching them. She took the map in her hands and looked at it for a few seconds then around the place and then back at the map, finally giving up, she handed it back to the same person “Yeah it’s not. My bad, you seem to know what you’re doing so let’s keep going” she said with a laugh “In my defense it looked exactly the same” she shrugged. “But let’s be honest I get lost even when siri is telling me the way I need to go”

Treasure Hunt | Team 2

Ashley had fun in the challenge last month and was looking forward to doing it again.  She followed along with her team until they got to the designated area marked on the map.  She grabbed one of the shovels and went to a spot off in the corner and started to dig.  She made a few decent size holes and stopped to take a drink of her water bottle.  She just just screwing the lid back on her bottle when she heard someone on her team call out that they found something. She walked over and joined the crown, cheering that they actually found it.  “Do we open it or what?” she laughed.
