Cocktail Sampling | Magnus & Ruby [Closed]
There weren't any doubts in Magnus' eyes that Ruby was more then capable of helping him behind the bar and with the general upkeep of things. It had been very quiet recently and not much of anything had been happening. The heroes and the villains had come to an uneasy truce of sorts - but he hadn't given that too much focus. He still had an establishment to run, along with regulars and indeed a greater influx of people due to all the downtime. So having her help and Asher also was something he greatly appreciated.
His fiancée and his best friend the reception between them had been a little frosty at first, after all the tall, muscular blonde who had captured his heart and soul wholly was at times a little protective - but he had spent some time with his Mother and so was a little more aware of how things works - with both magick and demons. And he smiled as he finished his coffee and the last of the invoices he had to deal with.
His best friend was a natural it would seem, she has charm and was especially good and dealing with the drunker types who could possibly cause a scene or end up in a brawl. It was that thought that funnily enough made him take into considerations something he had been thinking of lately - but had been reluctant to do. He made changes to the menu of course, quite frequently. But it had come to his attention that some cocktails weren't selling as well as they used to and as such a change was probably necessary.
He decided then and there he would but would see what Ruby thought of the idea, after all she was now part of his team which caused him to chuckle. There was a time not so long ago when he thought that wasn't possible. All of his old friends whom he cared about had left after all - these two though Ruby and Asher he was confident they wouldn't ever leave him.
"I'm thinking of maybe adding a few new cocktails to the menu and removing some old ones which don't seem to be as popular.." he said as he meandered down the stairs to where the brunette seemed in her element - in his kitchen workshop which held the myriad of treasured ingredients which set his cocktails apart from the rest of the world. "I wondered if you had any suggestions, a few have sprung to mind and I had a thought to maybe sample a few of the new ones of course.." he added with a cheeky grin.
