I would send you in a heartbeat If I had some, my love! I wish it was just the way I took the screenshots that made the whole decoration look messy but I actually have a very dubious quality taste for decoration in general (you would clearly see that by seeing how my house looks like, lmao).But here’s some things that I usually do:

1. Keep your house/apartment/room small (who needs space when you can squish all the furniture together right??)

2. Throw everything you like in it: Plants, candles, incense, some wall decor, rugs, chairs, a fridge, neon signs, more plants

3. Try using the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat once in a while! There’s so many gems hidden in the debug items, seriously

4. It may be silly, but I like to think about my character’s story while I’m decorating their house, because it makes the house looks a bit more like them (tiny little things, like putting a snow globe somewhere in the house because it was the first thing they bought when they went to San Myshuno or a book beside their bed because it’s their favorite, you know?)

And that’s it! Go back to gameplay mode and watch your sim suffer walk around their messy house ♡
