✨💙💐 Slumber Party 💐💙✨
I’m never gonna get over how hilarious it looks when a wolf villager does a “shocked” face. Also, how can she tell it’s a perfect apple? All she can see is a little paper bag with a bear face on it. Maybe she can smell it with her superior canine senses?
Oh Freya you little cutie 😩
It seemed to me that the natural logical progression of having hundreds of extra mushrooms, even after crafting three of each craftable item, was to craft enough shirts and hats for every animal at the camp and also a set for myself. If you visit the camp now, you’ll see all nine of us dressed in these M shirts and hats. The M’s stand for our names. In my case, the “M” stands for “Soybean.” In Octavian’s case, the “M” stands for “Octavian.” It’s really not rocket science.
As much as snooty villagers like to talk about their legs in New Leaf (how they used to be flamenco dancers, how they’re champion runners, etc.), it’s strange to hear them talk about being “not quite geriatric” and then admit that they don’t actually skate. But I saw her skating! She was doing it!
True story: I found out earlier today (Friday) that my last remaining grandparent, my mom’s mom, had a heart attack five days ago (Sunday) and died this morning at 3:30 AM. I didn’t even know about the heart attack. She was 95.
I also didn’t like her much, so I am honestly not that bothered about it. I don’t want to get into her history of abuse, so I won’t, but I’ll just say that I AM capable of feeling sad about it when people die.
The reason that I bring this up is that my other grandmother, who was also not a particularly great person but was certainly better than this one, used to maintain a very elaborate flower garden that took up half of her (very small) back yard. When I visited her in the Spring or Summer, I really enjoyed walking through the flowers and seeing which ones were blooming and which ones smelled nice and which ones hadn’t bloomed yet or didn’t have any fragrance. It was one of the highlights of seeing her.
So, to answer Freya’s question, I sometimes still think of that flower garden when I see some really nice flowers. And I have no grandparents left, and am kind of okay with that.
