I believe one of these boys more than the other
Last of the Halloween comments. Colton doesn’t want to wear a costume because he doesn’t want to look worse than he currently does (which is good; he looks good).
Ribbot, despite being an artificial life form made of metal, or rather a whole lot of binary code processed by my phone, claims that his biceps “are totally real.” Okay, my dude! You can say whatever you want!
I guess the joke is that wood is one of the game’s primary crafting materials, right? So it could just as easily have been called “Coping with Preserves Shortages.” But I worry a lot about things like wood shortages in real life, so this is just kind of troubling to me. Not to Ribbot, though! Even if the whole world goes up in smoke, he’ll just keep on doing his routine maintenance and livin’ on just fine. I’m not sure what he eats, but it’s hopefully renewable.
So is Ribbot just a normal frog who happens to look like a robot? Because the game just does not care about animals like him, or Stitches, or Hopkins, who are clearly not flesh and blood like most of the rest of them.
And don’t try to tell me that Ribbot’s robotic muscles use oxygen. That’s just being silly.
Do peaches help build any specific body part? I tried looking online for what a “peach-shaped body” would be, but I think that’d just be the same as an apple shape. As for what specific body parts are shaped like peaches, I couldn’t come up with anything that was actually funny. Not that I couldn’t come up with anything! Just nothing funny.
Another example of giving the same animal the same gift on multiple occasions. I believe Ribbot would enjoy a floating asteroid, because he is a living piece of science fiction, but I question his choice to bench-press something that floats and is apparently weightless. That’s like bench-pressing a beach ball, except EVEN LIGHTER.
Ribbot speaking with the ghost of the haunted bench. Apparently, this ghost works out a lot and is very muscular. I guess you don’t really have to worry about cardio killing your gains when you don’t have a heartbeat. You know, because you’re DEAD.
I don’t have much to say about this, I just absolutely adore the mental image of it. Imagine Ribbot, the robot frog, dancing and playing on the island, juggling an armful of coconuts, when one hits him on the head. His belongings fly from his body, like rings fro Sonic the Hedgehog, and he flees in terror and confusion back to the safety of my campsite. Good thing for him I’m around to help out!
