One, Singular Sensation || Day 1 OS
“I’m leaving.” I state, taking one last look at Aquarius and the thing that he was hunkering down with for the night. “If I find Adam, I’ll send him the opposite way.”
Part of me hoped - as I left Aquarius there with the little scarred girl who was happily digging into sandwiches - that he would be safe for the night, that the little hellbeast wouldn’t grow fangs and rip his throat out. We were by no means friends, and neither were we allies for very long, but it felt right to worry about him as I stepped back out into the corridor stealing one last glance at the boy from 4.
Stepping out into the corridor I huff a sigh of relief to be away from the girl, I decide that as the lights are beginning to dim outside I’d better find somewhere to hunker down for the night.
Deciding against going into the dark room opposite I make my way towards the opposite end of the school and begin to look at the smaller rooms, now that I knew the larger of the classrooms held the little girl, I could only guess that Adam would be in it’s counterpart. That wouldn’t do, he was for Aquarius to find, instead, I turned my attention to the door opposite that had a room on either side. Gently, I approached and tried to hear if there was anything on the inside.
Status Day One
Ashton:
Playground Alone No Weapons Plans
The first day || OS
Ashton ran as fast as his bare feet could allow. He followed the paved path and found himself in a playground that he swears he kind of recognizes. Before he can get a good look at everything he hears the tale tell sounds of dress shoes on pavement so he decides to hide and try to prepare an attack. As the girl emerged from the path Ashton positioned himself so she wouldn't see him. He made his way around and was preparing to attack when he saw two more Tributes come out onto the playground. 3v1 doesn't seem like good odds for Ashton, even if he did have a weapon but at this point all he has is his shoes, so he decides to sit back, maybe pick off whoever remains. Hell, a weakened 2v1 is better a solid all out brawl. After an exchange of words and a very tense few minutes they all part ways. Staying out of sight the whole time Ashton watches them leave the playground. "Fuck," he mutters to himself.
He decided to try to get his bearings and climbed onto the highest point in the jungle gym. He surveyed the arena, it was definatly a school grounds. Why a school grounds he wondered to himself. It didn't matter, he was alive, and he had something to sleep under so if it started to rain he could stay dry. He went to the dome climbing equipment and made his was inside. He took off his jacket and made a pillow out of it and waited until the sun rose to the beat of cannon shots going off.
Most Likely To Succeed || Arena Day 1
Hearing Six and Five make a split from me, I trek onwards to what appears to be a high school building. I know sticking together is a good idea, but we’ve just met each other. How could I trust them so easily? If only one comes out, I must be able to go at this alone. I already intended a solo journey before their friendly encounter so I shall continue as planned.
Coming up to the side door, I cleverly stick my head inside to get a sneak peek, looking around for any activity.
An Unlikely Alliance || Arena Day 1 || Milo & Colborn
Taking a moment to catch my breath, I survey the area around me. The field is wide and flat, though it quickly becomes clear that I’m standing in a baseball diamond. Not too far away is a figure, and I squint in attempts to see what it is, only to immediately regret it. Not far enough away from me is the boy from Seven, a large, bloodied axe in his hand.
And he was getting closer.
I was pretty sure I could outrun him, but he had already killed- or at least maimed one tribute- so maybe his blood thirst was satisfied for the moment. After all, if he was going to attack, wouldn’t he have by now? The explaination sounded fake, but he was already only meters away and I could see a weird smile on his face.
Taking a deep breath, I tightened my grip on my rapier and forced myself to hold still, hoping that he might just ignore me completely.
permanent stain || day 1 task 1
As soon as the other boys storm out of their shit stalls, Polly knows what she has to do. Using up another one of her extinguisher sprays, she coats shit boy number one in foam again hoping it would render him kind of useless. Thankfully, a bit of the cold powder got in his eye and he spent a few second rubbing them. Long enough for Polly to lift up her shirt and Capitol-issued brassiere to distract the other boys for just a moment.
quit playing games || arena day 1
Bitches. Fat, balding bitches, the lot of them. Reigning in a high pitched scream was all Polly could do as soon as she entered the first arena building she ran into. After taking a few deep breaths and running her fingers through her hair to reassure herself she was not a fat, balding mess, she decided to take a look around the building. Ah, high school. The golden years.
Grabbing tightly onto her fire extinguisher, Polly pushed open the doors to the room directly ahead of her and scanned her surroundings.
