[01.20.15.] -- 8:01 AM
[Blaine Anderson wakes up on the dot at 6:45 AM. His alarm -- currently The Temptations -- brightly reminds him of the time, but Blaine is no sleep-seeker. Already zipping in and out of the washroom, Blaine is determined to go to business over a certain matter involving an over-the-shoulder satellite by the name of:
"Special Agent Elliott Gilbert," Blaine repeats the name after he fixes his hair in the mirror. He won't forget it. Blaine hustles into his clothes, choosing a neat blue-white shirt to wear with dark gray slacks and a jacket. He leafs through his ties and selects one for "business time."
He gets to the precinct and parks his car close to the station window where he can see from his desk. When he gets through the door, officers Pritchard and Keller get from their seat and maneuver themselves oh-so-well to completely block Blaine's path.
"Where you goin', little dog?" says Pritchard, hands on his hips and smirking now that Blaine's gotten to a full stop. Keller has the gall to actually pat Blaine on the shoulder.
Blaine, not amused and already knowing their tactic, picks off Keller's hand off his shoulder and answers, "To the Commissioner's office, but I've got two slugs in the way--oh right, shouldn't you have your paperwork in? Eight is the deadline for documentation submissions, unless you want the DA coming in the station to yell at you two again. That was fun."]
