I used to trust people until they proved me wrong. I was proven wrong a lot. It's a beautiful thought and ideal to trust people, but it doesn't work well in practice. You'll get beaten to a pulp and end up trusting no one. That's not good, either. Let people's actions show you who and what they really are. Actions speak louder than words. A person can say anything, but if they don't back it up through action, it's bullshit. See who they are and then decide if you trust them. I, now, am neutral, and I wait to see and hear who people really are. I wish I could go back to being the naive person I used to be, but in this world, it's not a good idea to be that trusting. Except, of course, with those who are true to you and themselves. I love those people and they become family to me.
