I just heard that Bex (Pidge’s voice actor) came out as nonbinary

I’m afab nonbinary and Pidge is my favorite and part of that is the whole ambiguity aspect of her gender, the way she was content to be perceived as male for so long

and I’m an artist struggling to make my mark and do work I’m passionate about

and I am so happy to know that Bex is out there being nonbinary and proud and successful

I don’t know the circumstances of Bex’s coming out, it sounded as if it wasn’t exactly planned but I hope it was still a positive experience and I hope the fandom will support Bex through all of this

anyway I’m reading A Stitch in Time right now and so far I count one (1) inconsistency between the book and my fic series so far and two (2) inconsistencies between the book and the actual TV series

so I’m probably just gonna go *shrug* it’s a web of lies but Garak still wrote it in my fic series

also it included my headcanon about Garak being fascinated with the human concept of sportsmanship so I’m definitely counting that as a win

which, I mean, yes, I adore those characters and yes, there SHOULD be a female led movie but

Renner and ScarJo both have, like, small children that they want to spend time with?

like I dunno, Marvel Studios is not the only factor here
